People who know

Flax shadows (090310)

It dawned on me again this morning that there’s never any shortage of people who know. What? Whatever! Pick a topic, any topic, and ask whoever you’re with what they think …

But if things actually are that black-and-white / cut-and-dried / right-or-wrong, would it be too unreasonable to expect a bit more agreement than is currently apparent?

A famous poem written by Seng-ts’an (the third patriarch of Zen) includes the words, “Do not seek the truth; only cease to cherish opinions.”
